Minnesota West offers Office 365 applications for currently enrolled students to download for FREE!
Note: Students using Chromebooks will not be able to download the software, as Chromebooks do not have hard drive storage.
This allows students to install Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Skype for Business, Publisher and Access on up to five personal PCs, tablets or mobile devices. Macs are eligible only for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Skype for Business.
You are eligible for this program for as long as you remain enrolled as a student at Minnesota West. If you are prompted for a login during installation or to activate your product with a Microsoft account, you need to use your student email credentials. (StarID@go.minnstate.edu and your StarID password)
The software can be downloaded directly from within your student email account, there are no product keys.

Where can I get help if I am having trouble installing Office 365 Pro Plus? It is recommended that you contact Microsoft directly at Office Support or submit a ticket to the Help Center.
Who is eligible for Office 365 Pro Plus? Students who are enrolled in one or more credits. Students must connect to the Internet once every 30 days to verify they are still eligible for the program.
How much OneDrive space do I have? unlimited
Should I uninstall my existing version of Office? Uninstalling any existing version of Office before you install a new version of Office is recommended.
