Getting Started with D2L.
Video Demonstration on How To Login To D2L
Begin by going to the website www.mnwest.edu Hover over Current Students in the top navigation. Under the Current Students page, select the box that says D2L. You will be directed to the Desire To Learn (D2L) website. Select the Sign on with StarID button. To login, enter your Star ID and password. After successful login, you will enter the D2L home page where you can navigate all of your courses. Your course will show up in the My Courses box or you can select the menu icon and select your course.
The eSevices tab will take you to your eServices Account. Under the Resources tab, you will find Minnesota West resources such as:
Awards, LARC – Library information, MediaSpace, Tutor.com, Zoom, and Opendora.
Under the Student Services tab you can find the Bookstore, Readspeaker, and Transcript information.
The Course Self-Service link is a resource for faculty, as a student, you can ignore it.
Notifications can be found under the Bell icon. Messaging between your peers will be under the Message icon and Subscriptions will be under the icon next to it. To log out of your account select your name in the top right corner. then select Log Out.
